Are you detail-oriented, structured, and interested in international trade? Then this role as a Customs Process Administrator (CPA) might be perfect for you! As part of a dynamic team, you will coordinate and organize a wide range of customs services. From order acceptance and document management to goods release and clearance, you ensure everything runs smoothly. You will receive extensive internal and external training, including an online course on customs legislation and foreign trade, along with daily support.

key responsibilities
- Perform customs clearances, including certificates, and resolve incidents by offering appropriate solutions
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all import & export declarations and transit movements
- Execute all financial activities relevant to customs house brokerage accurately and on time
- Compile and present data reports to management, customers, internal stakeholders, compliance, and implementation teams
- Ensure compliance with all local customs authorities' regulations and strive to exceed statutory requirements
- Maintain strong business relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Actively share knowledge and expertise within the team
- Proactively lead or participate in customs-related projects
- Complete training to cover all accounts within the team
- Contribute to team spirit and staff engagement
qualification
- Experience in a customs, import, or export role
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
- Relevant customs certification is a plus
- Knowledge of local customs regulations is an asset
- Familiarity with customs software is advantageous
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and other applications
- Customer-oriented with strong communication skills
- Team player with a supportive mindset
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Fluent in Dutch and English
