As a GL Accountant, you will be an integral part of the finance team, ensuring the smooth execution of
accounting processes and the successful integration of financial systems. Working within an international
framework, you’ll collaborate with teams across geographies, especially within shared service
environments, to enhance the organization's financial efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
● Manage the General Ledger (GL) in alignment with Belgian GAAP and local VAT regulations
● Drive financial system integrations, focusing on SAP Finance and SAP SRM, particularly during
mergers and acquisitions
● Support consolidation efforts, integrating systems, processes, and structures within a shared services
framework, notably with teams in India
● Facilitate the implementation of Salesforce, fostering collaboration between finance and sales
departments
● Analyze and process financial data to support reporting, compliance, and regulatory needs
● Ensure adherence to internal and external financial reporting standards, maintaining strict compliance
with VAT and other financial regulations
