• Manage the General Ledger (GL) and perform accounting processes aligned with Belgian GAAP and local VAT regulations
• Actively participate in financial systems integration, with a specific focus on SAP Finance and SAP SRM, particularly in the context of mergers and acquisitions
  
• Support merger operations, including the consolidation of systems, processes, and structures within a shared service environment, especially in India
• Ensure smooth implementation of systems such as Salesforce on the sales side, enhancing collaboration between finance and sales teams
• Analyze financial data to support reporting, compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Guarantee compliance with internal and external financial reporting standards and VAT regulations

• 3–4 years of experience in a similar role as a GL Accountant
• Proficiency in SAP, with emphasis on SAP Finance and SAP SRM, is essential
• Experience with Salesforce is a strong advantage, particularly in sales integration
• Proven experience with mergers and acquisitions, including system and process integration, preferably in an international context
  
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel for financial data processing and analysis
• Comprehensive knowledge of Belgian financial legislation
  
• Fluency in English is mandatory; a working knowledge of Dutch is an asset
