Key responsibilities
Translate CVP into User Stories & Business Requirements:
Analyze the Customer Value Proposition (CVP):
• Conduct thorough reviews of the CVP to understand its core elements and intended customer
benefits throughout the full customer journey.
• Identify and document the key components and deliverables associated with the CVP.
Create Detailed and Clear User Stories:
• Break down the CVP into specific user stories that capture the end-user's customer
experience.
• Ensure each user story includes a clear description and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate user stories and ensure they align with business
objectives and user expectations.
• Prioritize user stories based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
Develop Comprehensive Business Requirements:
• Translate user stories into detailed business requirements that capture the functionality,
performance, and constraints of the desired solution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and incorporate feedback, ensuring all
perspectives are considered.
Document and Communicate Requirements:
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of user stories and business
requirements.
• Use visual aids such as wireframes, mockups, and flowcharts to enhance understanding and
communication of requirements.
• Ensure documentation is easily accessible and understandable by both business and
technical teams.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates to ensure requirements remain aligned with the evolving
CVP and business objectives.
Facilitate Requirement Gathering & Validation:
• Organize and lead workshops with stakeholders to refine and validate user stories and
business requirements.
• Use techniques such as brainstorming, affinity mapping, and prioritization exercises to
facilitate productive discussions and consensus-building.
• Capture feedback and incorporate changes promptly to ensure requirements are accurate and
complete.
Stakeholder Validation and Alignment:
IT Alignment and Refinement:
• Work closely with the IT team to refine and translate business requirements into technical
specifications.
• Ensure that the IT team understands the business context and objectives behind the
requirements.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of user stories, business requirements, and
stakeholder feedback.
• Provide regular updates and reports on project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and
senior management.
Project Management:
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring that milestones and deliverables are met
on time and within scope.
Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in translating CVPs into actionable plans.
• Implement best practices and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of
project management activities.
