For a dynamic and fast-growing company, we are looking for an Operator Slide Grinding to work in a two-shift system.
The Operator Slide Grinding will be responsible for operating and maintaining the mass finishing department, which consists of seven vibrating tubs used for deburring and rounding sharp edges of sprayed and sawn metal parts. These tubs contain grinding stones, water, and soap, which, through high-frequency vibration, smooth the workpieces.
The operator's tasks include filling the vibrating tubs with metal components such as handles, hinges, and locks, either manually or with the assistance of a hoist. Once the grinding process is complete, the operator will empty the tubs automatically and collect the finished parts in containers. This role involves physically demanding work in a loud production environment, with appropriate ear protection provided.
Salary: Competitive salary with a shift allowance and £6 meal voucher a day.
