project manager

As a Project Manager, you'll be involved in projects from the bid phase through to project delivery to the customer. You'll have the opportunity to build long-term relationships with customers, and you'll work on large, technically challenging projects.

As part of a traffic management project, we are looking for an engineer/project manager, to work on tunnels in Belgium. The project involves collaboration with internal and external partners.

Initially, you will be trained in the various specific aspects of the project (regulation, IT development, project management, etc.), before taking over full management of the project.

Once “autonomous”, you will participate as an expert in the various project monitoring committees for customers. You will work closely with the Business Manager and the Financial Manager. 

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in electromechanics, electronics, ICT (or equivalent through experience).
• You have at least 5 years' relevant experience as a project manager (EM projects interfacing with civil engineering works).
• PMI or prince 2 certification is an asset.
• You are the expert and point of contact for specific ITS fields.
• You are fluent in French, English and Dutch, both written and spoken (German is an asset).
• Strong communication skills, analytical ability, stress resistance, results orientation, commercial vision, negotiation skills, autonomy, critical thinking, 

Contract: consultancy via Randstad Professional (freelance or employee) 

Work schedule: full-time (40h/week with 12 days off/year)

Salary/rate: to be discussed depending on experience
