• Provide high-quality Mass Spectrometric support for a variety of synthetic molecule products (also including peptides, oligonucleotides, etc.) in the portfolio.
• Participate in supporting diverse investigations on the J&J development and commercial portfolio using cutting-edge high-resolution mass spectrometers and other analytical equipment.
• Work independently with a high level of productivity to solve challenging analytical problems, including the ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Present data and reports on project status at individual, group, and departmental meetings.
• Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with all applicable environmental, health, regulatory requirements, GMP and safety regulations.

• A PhD in (Analytical) chemistry, biochemistry or related field, OR a master’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or related field with 3 years of relevant experience is required. 
• Practical experience with High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry is required.
• Experience with Mass Spectrometry-based structure elucidation of small molecules is desirable.
• Expertise in Gas Chromatography – mass spectrometry and/or knowledge of extractable & leachable testing is an asset.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and equipment is considered an advantage.
• You can work on-site in Beerse.
