The Senior Scientist will join an international and multidisciplinary team focused on the advanced analytical characterization of pharmaceutical products and conducting analytical investigations within the pharmaceutical sector. In this lab-based role, the scientist will be responsible for analyzing particulate systems, with a focus on colloidal suspensions, peptides, gels, and liposomal drug formulations.
Responsibilities:
Study colloidal and nanoparticulate systems such as nanocrystalline suspensions, oligonucleotides, hydrogels, micellar and self-emulsifying drug delivery systems, liposomes, etc., using advanced analytical technologies.
Collaborate with teams in chemical, pharmaceutical, and technological development to design the best products and processes.
Develop, lead, and perform experiments in the analytical development of colloidal systems.
Apply scientific methods to problem-solving and ensure the delivery of relevant results.
Actively participate in a multidisciplinary team and demonstrate willingness to learn and explore new techniques.
Provide expertise and solutions for commercial product investigations efficiently.
Develop test procedures and write scientific and investigation reports.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices, and safety standards.
Stay up to date with scientific literature and developments in the field.
Establish and maintain collaborations with external partners and universities.
Contribute to investment plans to further develop laboratory capabilities.
