what are you doing at Randstad?
“I work for the Randstad Inhouse division, a department that is tailored to clients having a large number of temporary workers. My role as 'flying consultant' is primarily focused on supporting the existing teams. I replace my absent colleagues, but I also reinforce teams at peak times. Our goal is to ensure the continuity of the service at our clients, whatever the situation. I don't have my own office and my car is my best friend. This job suits me very well, because it allows me to work very independently and yet have plenty of contacts.”
what do you like most about your job?
“It offers a lot of variation. I never get bored! My planning may vary from one day to another, but I know that I will always end up somewhere where I can be of use. I love to give it all in different situations and share my experience with my colleagues.”

what motivates you?
“My colleagues, our clients, our temporary workers and last but not least my managers. It is not always an easy job and it takes a lot of energy, but I do learn a lot and I get to meet nice people. I am lucky to work with inspiring colleagues for whom personal development is a priority. Acknowledgement, both at Randstad and at our temporary workers, is an important motivator too.”
