As a Buyer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining procurement strategies for assigned product and service categories. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to lead complex procurement projects and optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Your responsibilities include:

• Defining and communicating category strategies in consultation with internal clients
• Managing the sourcing process (RFx) in line with defined strategies to maximize value
• Translating internal client needs into specific requirements and contracts
• Develop and execute RFX documents for key CAPEX requirements and manage the tender process through to techno-commercial evaluation, post-tender negotiation, contracting, purchase order, and delivery
• Analyze bills of material and drawings/specifications to understand key procurement requirements
• Formulate and administer RFPs/RFQs based on project requirements; negotiate prices, schedules, turnaround times, and other terms with suppliers
• Monitor and evaluate contractor performance to ensure compliance with safety, environmental standards, technical quality, and commercial aspects
• Collaborate with internal customers to optimize supplier performance and drive cost-consciousness within the organization

• Master’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in (project) procurement
• Proven successful Technical Project Buyer experience, with a focus on CAPEX projects and technical procurement
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proven experience in stakeholder management
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of cost analysis
• Language proficiency: fluent in English, with a good command of either French or Dutch
