A. Gather and check the shipment information only for usual shipments
- Receive, record and validate customer order in the TMS taking into consideration our offer (quotation, SOP)
- Define the execution plan (routing) versus the operational constraints (embargoes, Transit Time, Cost,) (with
Middle Office solutions)
- Collect all required documents (commercial invoice, packing list, etc.)
B. Handle shipments
- Check the availability of cargo and provide confirmation that shipping can proceed
- Optimize the operational execution and perform the transportation plan (booking) (with Middle Office
solutions)
- Input up to date information regarding the shipment in the TMS
- Produce documentation according to customer profile (transport documents)
- Manage communication and processing of documentation with suppliers (internal + external)
- Create and update events in the TMS
C. Monitor shipments
- Monitor and improve suppliers performance (with MO solutions)
- Coordinate with COS in case of deviation
D. Process and monitor customer invoices
- Validate that all documentation is complete and compliant versus the requirements and upload in the TMS
- Complete Internal invoicing/Cost postings
- Produce and dispatch External invoices and documents to Customers
E. Report
- Prepare operational reports and provide feedback to the manager
- Be responsible for the effective operational execution our commitments (qualitative pre-assessment)
He/she must demonstrate sufficient social and communicative skills when informing customers, agents, suppliers,
etc. Management is not applicable.
